Synopsis

Basic quality control terms, where is quality created, who is responsible for a quality. Basic statistical terms and distributions. Statistical methods: statistical process control, statistical sampling. Tools and methods for a quality assurance during product lifetime cycle. Standards 9 000 and 14 000, certification of quality control systems.

Goals of study

Make students acquainted with basic terms and methods of quality control.

Course curriculum

  1. Basic concept of quality, product life cycle, responsibility for quality.
  2. Developement of quality to TQM, metrology and quality.
  3. Basic statistical concepts, quality control.
  4. Statistical control-finishing, statistical acceptance.
  5. Preproduction quality, QFD and FMEA methods.
  6. Quality improvement, suggestions, methods.
  7. Standards ISO 9 000:2 000, 14 000, structure, importance.

Training course curriculum

  1. Fundamental date manufacturing, histogram, outliers tests.
  2. Pareto analysis, stability chart.
  3. Gauge calibration.
  4. Statistical control simulation in laboratory.
  5. SW for statistical control show.
  6. Brainwritting.
  7. Credit test.
